Who We Are
Ferric Prophet & Shivery Dug
Ferric Prophet
Ferric Prophet is the current work of Scottish songwriter and producer Jimmy Noble.
Formed after decades in underground music, the project draws on punk, dub, funk, and experimental rock — not as reference points, but as lived experience. Earlier bands shaped the language; Ferric Prophet removes everything unnecessary.
Ferric refers to iron — weight, pressure, and endurance. Prophet is not prediction, but voice: saying what needs to be said once the noise is stripped away.
The music is built around bass, space, rhythm, and voice. Direct, physical, and unpolished — written to carry weight rather than chase attention.
These are complete listening pieces, forged through survival and instinct, intended to be experienced in full.
Ferric Prophet compositions are available for contextual use in film, television, installation, and other visual media.

Shivery Dug
Shivery Dug is a visual artist working primarily with photography and digital image manipulation.
The work focuses on surface, texture, and distortion — taking familiar forms and breaking them down until something harder to place emerges. Images are built slowly, often stripped back, allowing noise, blur, and imperfection to remain part of the final piece.
Within Ferric Prophet, Shivery Dug’s work exists alongside the music, not in service to it.
The images are not illustrations and they are not explanations.
They operate independently, carrying their own weight and tension.
Sound and image are developed separately and brought together through proximity rather than instruction — two parallel works occupying the same space.
